Demo room redesign

In Nov of 2024 I was asked to lead a team to redesign our demo room. In order to do this I worked with our facilities dept. to get measurements of the room, and built a 3d model of the demo room. This model proved invaluable, allowing us to visualize machine placement, and the style of graphic fixtures (like in-set window graphics and large format prints. Taking the guesswork out of modernizing a custom space.

We wanted to push Haastooling for black friday, but this kind of video needs to be dynamic and really have a polished, high energy aesthetic. To date, this is ad has the most views of any we’ve ever shot.

The original images in the stairwell were these old nascar banners that hadn’t been changed in over 10 years. My manager asked me to come up with a new modern look. I built a 3d model of the space and went through a pretty extensive design phase to find the right look. I came up with this cascading frame design, that maximizes the action of an F1 race while showing off the scale of these large-format prints.

For this project, I designed and prepared all artwork assets, designed the placement and layout of the fabric frames, hired the installation contractor and supervised the logistics of installation - as this had to be accomplished on a weekend in a high traffic area.
